Fiona van Vollentsee

I am a Medical Scientist who qualified in 2009 in human anatomy with a focus on Stem-cell biology at the University of Pretoria. I continued my research in Stem-cell engineering and gained vast experience in Lentiviral vectors and immunology. I further advanced my academic career in clinical research at the office under the supervision of the esteemed Prof Tess van der Merwe. Together with the team, I share great compassion for patients living with obesity and the research with Prof Tess supports my passion to bridge the gap between science, technology and improving overall healthcare.
