Shaithal Moodley

Shaithal Moodley is an esteemed psychologist with over 15 years of experience in the field. She obtained her masters degree (cum laude) from MEDUNSA (University of Limpopo) and has since gone on to start the process of her PhD in recent months. Ms Moodley is a sought-after speaker and has aired as a professional contributor on SABC 3’s Marry Me Mzanzi and other radio shows. She is also a dedicated mentor, having supervised many students in her position as the Senior Clinical Psychologist at Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital before joining our team. In addition to her academic work, Ms Moodley was employed by the United Nations, where she served as a peace keeper/psychologist, having been deployed in the DRC in 2008/2009. During this time she was awarded the prestigious United Nations Medal for Qualifying as a Military Member of the organization. Hereafter, she served in the SANDF as the Chief Clinical Psychologist. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques, as well as drawing from her wealth of experience. Ms Moodley is widely respected for her compassionate and empathetic approach, and her unwavering commitment to helping others.
